Shopping

When it comes to shopping, East Jefferson County has something for everyone. In Port Townsend you will discover inspired jewelry designs, hand crafted pottery, paintings, sculpture, photography and literature by local artists, fine wines from around the world and close to home, and unique shoes and clothes that fill the downtown boutiques. From outdoor gear to sustainable fashion, organic cotton, up-cycled apparel and inspired home decor, Port Townsend’s shopping district is teaming with unique one of a kind shops, boutiques and galleries. For a taste of Port Townsend’s culinary bounty, head uptown to the Farmers Market (Saturday April through October from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM).

On Marrowstone Island you will find fresh oysters from the beaches and fishing gear and other essentials at the general store in Nordland on the island or slip over to nearby Port Hadlock to pick up outdoor gear, camping essentials, fishing licenses or everything you need for a day at the beach or a weeklong trip.

For artisan crafts and locally grown food and delicacy items, head to the Chimacum Farmers Market (Sunday from 10am to 2pm mid May through October).
